The official opening took place at UN Plaza in Almaty and brought together representatives from the United Nations, government bodies, and the business community.
The event's agenda included discussions on key topics such as sustainable development, the role of the private sector in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the advancement of ESG practices, and opportunities for cross-border cooperation.
The UN Global Compact unites over 20,000 companies from more than 160 countries that are committed to principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.
MEDIKER joined the UN Global Compact in 2022 and has since been systematically integrating the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its corporate practices.
